String Boxes

DC String Junction & Combiner Boxes are becoming a frequent replacement to controversial DC Isolators. Many of our clients at DSH Cables & Controls, have steered away from DC Isolation as they have been pinned as potential culprits for recent large solar fires. Most inverters have DC Isolation incorporated as standard, so our Junction and Combiner boxes grant you the ability to isolate individual strings and customise additional fuse protection on the positive, negative, both or neither.

Junction boxes – Junction Boxes are excellent, especially for those offering maintenance packages as they can be used to isolate individual strings and pinpoint exactly where potential issues lie. Combiner Boxes – Along with all the same benefits as Junction boxes, Combiner boxes also allow you to bring multiple stings into one single armoured cable, this will allow for much more manageable and much safer cable runs, especially over long distances.
